California Dreamin'

CLICK TO WATCH CLIP.
So we're back from California to finish packing, and I have to say that it was pretty amazing. I was a bit nervous about how I would feel, but as soon as we landed it was love at first sight. The weather was amazing. When we were there it was 80 degrees, when we got back it was 8 degrees.
Also when we were there I wasn't prepared for what was going to meet us back in New York. Not only the blizzard of '05, but also the death of a first cousin. I had much trouble posting this vlog because there are a lot of conflicting feelings right now (my cousin, although we were not close, was only 21 and died in an accident).
I wanted to let you know how California went, but I think my next post will be dedicated to him. That will be a difficult one... so it may take some time.

Glad to see you made it. The music made this extra sappy in a really great way.
My first expereince with blogging was a road trip from east coast to move a friend to Cali as well.

Sorry to hear about your cousin. :(
I live in California too. It's great isn't it? Your apartment (it looked like a house from the outside?) looks gorgeous! I'm impressed that you found that in 6 days. wow.

Sorry to hear about your cousin.
It looks like you got a nice place in LA. Looks like mother nature gave you a final sendoff. After a month living there you'll wonder why you put up with snow for so long. I lived in LA for four years and it felt like one long summer.
