Zadi has been working as a new media producer for over five years and in entertainment for over a decade as producer, director and documentary filmmaker. As executive produer at Smashface, Zadi is in involved in all aspects of development and production. She is co-creator, producer and host of the hit web show Epic Fu, which has garnered over 35 million views in over 100 countries, two Webby Awards, one Streamy award, one Vloggie award and six overall award nominations.

Zadi's online work came to the forefront when The New York Times reviewed a music video mashup she created using copyrighted material to highlight the atrocities of Hurricane Katrina. Since then, Zadi has been an advocate of Fair Use, Net Neutrality, creative exploration and storytelling using new technologies.

Her work has also been highlighted in Forbes, CBS Evening News, MTV, The Associated Press, The Guardian, and many other national publications. She is a Film Independent P:I Fellow, a member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), on the advisory board for PBS Engage, an inaugural member of the International Academy of Web Television and the Open Entertainment Alliance, a member of the Transatlantic Network 2020, and a Global Xchange Ambassador for the British Council.

Steve Woolf

Co-founder, Executive Producer

In his nearly ten years in the online video industry, Steve has been an entrepreneur, technologist, producer, writer, director, and executive, with a track record of choosing the right projects and shepherding them to repeated and consistent success.

Most recently as president of Blip Studios and senior vice president of content for Blip Networks, Steve was responsible for all content development, production, and strategic relationships with companies that make original video for the web. He oversaw a department on two coasts, and Steve was a key part of a management team that executed a total transformation of Blip from video hosting platform into a media company and studio for online originals.

As a two-time Webby Award winner and four-time nominee for the web series Epic Fu, Steve co-created, wrote, directed, and produced the pioneering show about emerging global culture that became one of the best-known shows on the Internet, compiling over 85 million video views during its long run. He was also honored with two Streamy Awards and three nominations for his work on that show.

Steve has been interviewed for his expertise in web video and online community building by The New York Times, CBS Radio, the TV Guide channel, paidContent, and GigaOm, along with countless other publications and blogs. He has delivered keynotes and spoken on panels at conferences across the United States, including Digital Hollywood, Variety’s Film & TV Summit, the Producer’s Guild, the Writer’s Guild, CES, and many more. Steve is an inaugural member of the IAWTV, and is a member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, the Webby Awards voting body.

Steve graduated from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn as a painting major and has exhibited his work across the country.
